Advanced Tech's Story

Scott Fritz started his collision business in his garage when he was 18 years old. Classic Auto Collision grew to three locations in the Upper Peninsula over 38 years before Scott sold the company. While still with Classic Auto, Scott started Advanced Tech Auto Service Center to service his loaner cars and customer needs. Since then, Paul Savard has grown the business with the customers in mind.

While the focus is customer service, their middle name is “Tech”. Scott says they keep up on the latest technology to provide the best service possible. He calls it the two Ps — Pride and Passion. To keep up with technology, Advanced Tech technicians spend time each week in training. Scott says it the best investment they can make in the business.
Paul started as a car detailer at the age of 18 at the Ford dealership in town. He soon became a technician. After 15 years, he went on to assembled Ford Rangers at a plant in Minnesota. He returned to Escanaba and soon was a service manager at Advanced Tech.

It brought Scott and Paul back together. They were friends in high school. That bond continues today as they work together to grow the business.

Paul loves the customer service part of the business, helping to get their vehicles fixed the right way. The company continues to grow and is taking steps to be ready to address issues of electrical vehicles.
